Underwater Inspection & Hull Cleaning at Chattogram Port
Send the vessel’s underwater requirement to our Chattogram operations desk. Chittagong Port Agent (CPA) checks vessel position, affected areas, available diving team and timing before shifting or sailing. We keep the Master and principal advised through diver attendance, underwater work and report return.

Underwater Work We Can Check
CPA checks the local diving team against the vessel position, work required and available window.
Mark the area and state what the vessel has observed or needs recorded.
Send the hull area, reported fouling, coating information and required completion time.
State any vibration, performance concern, damage or fouling reported by the vessel.
The diving team first checks the obstruction and confirms what can be removed under the agreed instruction.
Identify the exact area and whether inspection, clearing or cleaning is required.
Send the classification society and survey basis before contractor confirmation.
Before We Send the Divers
Tell us where the vessel is lying, which underwater area needs attention, what the vessel has observed and when the job must finish.
We check terminal access, cargo activity, vessel permission and the diving window before confirming attendance.
We check weather, sea condition, suitable workboat access and the next shifting or sailing time.
State the named areas, close-ups, measurements, date marking or class-monitored CCTV required.
The contractor confirms the proposed method, equipment, coating considerations and areas excluded from the quotation.
What Can Hold the Job
CPA checks when the current job will finish and the earliest time the team can move.
The divers may be ready ashore while no suitable boat is available for the vessel position.
Weather, current, sea condition, poor visibility or unsafe access may stop boarding or underwater work.
Machinery status, propeller, thruster, sea suction, overboard discharge, boarding access or onboard contact may still need confirmation.
CPA returns the diver’s finding and revised contractor requirement before additional work starts where possible.
We report what can still be completed and what needs a new attendance plan.
What Comes Back After the Job
Depending on the confirmed contractor scope, the return may include:
Class acceptance, surveyor endorsement and technical findings remain with the issuing classification society, surveyor or diving contractor.
Send Underwater Work Requirement
Send the vessel, position, affected underwater area, work required and attendance deadline.
CPA checks the local diving team against vessel position, work required and the available window, then returns the attendance path and next action.
CPA arranges local attendance and reporting. The diving contractor performs the underwater work under the vessel’s safety arrangements. The Master retains command of the vessel and permission for underwater work.
Urgent attendance window: identify the vessel, position, work required and required time when contacting the Duty Desk.
Underwater and port-call notes principals keep opening
Practical notes for owners, managers and technical parties on attendance, evidence and Bangladesh port practice.
