Container and Cargo Survey Services at Chattogram Port
Accurate Information. Timely Reporting. Practical Survey Support.
A broken seal, a small dent, a cargo discrepancy or a missing movement record may look minor during an operation. Later, it can become a claim, a dispute or an unplanned cost.
At Chattogram Port, container depots and Dhaka ICD, cargo condition, container condition, seal integrity, quantity and movement details need to be checked and recorded at the point of operation. Our survey support is based on day-to-day experience in port operations, shipping agency work, NVOCC operations, container handling and cargo coordination.
We work with Ship Owners, NVOCC Operators, Container Operators, Freight Forwarders and Cargo Principals who need a clear record of what was seen, where it was seen and when it was reported.
Survey Coverage
Chattogram Port and Dhaka ICD. Attendance depends on the location, operation and survey requirement.
Discharging Survey
During container discharge from the vessel, we monitor handling and check the external condition of the containers. Loaded-container seals are verified, re-sealing is monitored where required and DG sticker application is checked when applicable.
Visible damage, broken seals or other irregularities are photographed and reported so the Owner or Operator has a record from the discharge stage.
LCL Container Unstuffing Survey
During LCL unstuffing, we check the visible cargo condition and quantity, support the company tally and take photographs. Any visible damage, shortage or unusual condition found during unstuffing is recorded and reported.
Cargo and Empty Container Survey
We check cargo condition, quantity and visible appearance. Empty containers are inspected separately for external condition and visible damage.
Photographs are taken and a damage report is prepared where required.
Delivery Port Cargo Survey
At the delivery stage, we check the cargo and container condition and record any visible damage. Photographs show the actual condition when the cargo reaches the delivery point.
On-Chassis Survey
Before a loaded container leaves the port for onward transport, we check the seal and external condition and take photographs. This gives the Principal or Operator a record of the container at the time it exits the port.
Depot Empty Container Survey
At the depot, we inspect empty containers for visible damage and condition. We take photographs and prepare a damage report where necessary so the Operator has a clear depot-level record.
ICD Container Movement Monitoring
For containers moving between Chattogram Port and Dhaka ICD, we monitor the available movement information, including port-out date, ICD-in date, wagon number for rail movement and other relevant transport details.
The purpose is straightforward: the Principal or Operator should know where the container is and which movement record is available.

Our Working Experience
Our background is in shipping agency services, port operations, NVOCC agency work, container handling and cargo operations. We understand vessel discharge, container movement, depot handling, ICD movement and seal control because we work around these operations, not only from the report desk.
A survey is not useful merely because a form was completed. The useful part is noticing the condition at the right time, taking clear photographs, recording the relevant details and reporting anything the Principal needs to know without delay.
Survey Requirement and Cost
The survey should match the actual operation. Before attendance, we review the location, cargo or container requirement, expected timing and reporting need.
This keeps the attendance focused on the work required and avoids unnecessary survey cost.
Send the Survey Requirement
For a container or cargo survey at Chattogram Port, a container depot or Dhaka ICD, send the operation, location, container or cargo details, expected date and the checks required.
We will review the requirement, confirm the available attendance and report the findings with the applicable photographs and records.
